The flat top is my ‘entry’ Mandolin, not strictly flat, the top and back are slightly arched and the neck is raked back to give a more acute angle over the bridge. More energy in gives more energy out. The brightness and clarity of this Mandolin coupled with its astonishing volume, makes it a favourite with session players all over.
